What began as a college friendship and a shared vision for effortless menswear grew — What began as a college friendship and a shared vision for effortless menswear grew into a brand that dresses modern India.
Growing up in a family deeply connected to the textile industry, Karan developed an early understanding of fabrics, construction and quality. Those foundations shaped his approach to clothing and his belief that great menswear begins with thoughtful design and attention to detail.
During college, he met Kishore and together they shared a vision of creating clothing that was well-made, easy to wear and accessible to the modern Indian man. That vision led to the launch of Blue Monkey in 2013.
Today, Karan oversees the creative direction of the brand, guiding every collection from fabric selection and product development to fit, finish and the final piece that becomes part of your wardrobe.
Kishore comes from a family with a long history in the textile industry — premium fabrics, international sourcing, an obsession with quality that you can feel at first touch. That heritage is woven into every garment Blu Mnky produces.
After completing his management education at SPJIMR, he reconnected with his old college friend Karan and they decided it was finally time to build something together — a brand that would give the modern Indian man a label that truly understood him.
Kishore drives operations and strategy at Blu Mnky, ensuring every garment meets the standard both founders set out to uphold from day one.
